Genetic Lottery.
Humans in recent history is a product of genetic lottery. Scientists have already published data that half of kids’ learning ability is in their DNA. This means that aptitude to learn is an existing predisposition but the appetite to learn is an external factor that may help or hinder being up to par on learning standards. The impact of genetic predispositions on a human’s intelligence, health, well-being, temperament, and abilities represent the “nature” aspect. The “nurture” aspect just means that some humans need more or less intervention to reach an achievement level.
We can only play the hands we’re dealt with.
Designer Humans
Genome editing, also called gene editing, is a group of technologies that give scientists the ability to change an organism’s DNA. These technologies allow genetic material to be added, removed, or altered at particular locations in the genome. This means that DNA can be designed to make better humans: less prone to sickness, higher intelligence, higher athletic ability and so on.
This may bring up a number of ethical challenges, including whether it would be permissible to use this technology to enhance normal human traits (such as height or intelligence).*
Who will be the Humans of the New World?
If we are to live in technocratic world, then what kind of humans would be best equipped to maintain, build/improve upon or even transform such a world?
If we are to envision the possibility of inhabiting space, perhaps another planet, then what kind of humans would be the best to “seed” humanity in that new world?
If we are to evolve as a civilization, then what kind of humans would carry the torch to light the way for generations to come, in order to set the “gold standard” of humanity?
Polymath Humans
Polymaths are master generalists and are often called a “renaissance man/woman” in a romantic sense. They exist but are rare. Think: Leonardo da Vinci. In modern times, there’s Elon Musk and Erez Lieberman, to name a few.
There are those who have “polymath tendencies”. Humans who, additional to outstanding grades, is into performance arts (singing, playing musical instruments, dancing, acting); is an extemporaneous speaker and essay writer; participates in competitive multi-sports; has a wide range of knowledge from science to art, and interests from the academic to the esoteric.
There are many who are born to be genetically predisposed to “polymath tendencies” but this nature is not nurtured from potentiality to actuality due to environmental, socioeconomic and political factors.
The Academy

Imagine a world populated by Leonardo da Vincis — a world predominantly populated by truly well-rounded humans who constantly envision, dream and create just because it is natural for them to do things in service to truth, goodness and beauty!
I call upon educators, teachers, trainers/trainors, all those who value integrity and integration through a multifaceted and multidisciplinary approach in the pursuit of truth in learning. Let’s foster those with “polymath tendencies” and humans with special abilities by giving them a no holds barred, no censorship, no limit access to all information from the ancient history and occult to the modern and the bizarre. The Academy needs you.
